HKUST offers scholarships for both local and non-local entrants. Details of eligibility and application procedures for the coming academic year (2014/15 cohorts) are as the following:

 

	SCHOLARSHIP FOR ALL ENTRANTS University Entrance Scholarship for IB Diploma Holders IB Diploma candidates/holders who have completed the IB Diploma requirements before September 2014 will be considered for the Scholarship. Students with IB Total Points (including Bonus Points) 36 or above will be awarded with the scholarship. Details are as follows: IB Total Points Scholarship for students admitted in the 2014/15 academic year 45 Full tuition plus living allowance of HK$50,000, renewable for normal duration of study 42-44 Full tuition, one-off# 40-41 Half tuition, one-off# 38-39 HK$15,000, one-off# 36-37 HK$10,000, one-off# Students do not have to apply for the Scholarship. All IB Diploma candidates/holders are automatically considered for the awards based on their verified IB Total Points. The University will select qualified students and inform the students selected for scholarship awards in due course. International Olympiad Gold Medalists Students do not have to apply for the Scheme. B)	SCHOLARSHIPS FOR LOCAL ENTRANTSJUPAS Scholarships For HKDSE Students   JUPAS students attaining Level 5** in 1 subject or above in one single sitting of HKDSE will be eligible for JUPAS Scholarships. The JUPAS Scholarships range from $5,000 (+School top-up1) to a full scholarship of tuition fee plus allowance of $50,000 a year.
